RMIT offers food styling and food photography courses for those who want to publish a recipe collection or create a portfolio for personal or commercial purposes, understand the food photography industry and explore culinary art.
Learn about the basics of food styling with the Styling for Food Photography - Level 1 course, including a range of food themes, tips and tricks to preparing food for the ideal shot, display creation and the process of taking great shots.
You can then move on to learn learn advanced components of styling for food photography with the Styling for Food Photography - Level 2. RMIT Photographer and cooking professional presentations are included to provide helpful tips to achieve a hero shot. A variety of food themes, styling and propping will be explored.
We also ofer a Food Photography course if you want to learn how to capture those perfect food moments, using different camera angles, lighting tricks, camera settings and editing techniques.
