This is an intermediate level course that will help you explore the more advanced modelling, productivity and analysis tools of SolidWorks. You will gain hands on experience through a series of practical modelling exercises and case studies. The course will cover how to use SolidWorks to create parts & assemblies & how to quickly generate multiple variations of their designs through design tables. The course will cover the creation of sheet metal parts and Simulation express basics. It will include a practical guide to creating models for 3D printing & getting those files printed.
This program is for anyone who wants to further their skills in using SolidWorks
Participants will acquire an understanding of the advanced features of SolidWorks that they can apply to their own work practices.
Participants will need a good working knowledge of SolidWorks or have completed the RMIT SolidWorks - Level 1 Short Course. An understanding of PC operation and the Windows environment is essential.
All relevant course materials are included.
Pen/pencil and notebook.
Participants will be awarded an RMIT Statement of Participation.
