The course will introduce participants to video editing with Adobe Premiere CC (Creative Cloud) and will cover the basics of using the software. It is ideal for students, professionals and anyone with an interest in editing video. While content and exercise files for editing/working will be provided as part of the course, participants will also have the opportunity to bring in their own video footage, images and audio.
Students with an interest in multimedia/video creation. Professionals who need to prepare multimedia material for presentations etc. People with an interest in editing documentaries/home videos.
You will be familiar with basic editing techniques, complete an edit using video, audio, titles, images and animations etc. You will be able to output media to various formats (DVD, Web, Youtube, Facebook etc).
Basic computer skills are essential. Must be comfortable using software, navigating the internet & be able to use file storage networks.
No prior knowledge of this software is required.
All relevant course materials are included.
Pen/pencil and notebook. USB drive with at least 5gb space (must be PC compatible) and headphones.
Participants will be awarded an RMIT Statement of Participation.
