Adobe Suite for Design and Presentation - Level 2

Overview

If you know the basics of the Adobe Creative Suite and want to take your skills further this course is for you. You will produce professional flyers, brochures and newsletters using industry standard software and techniques. This course provides intermediate overviews of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign while guiding you through a series of practical projects designed to cover common Desktop Publishing scenarios.

Should I do Adobe for Design and Presentation Level 1 or Level 2?
If you need to know more about the concepts mentioned in Important Information (below) then Level 1 is for you.

Outcome

Participants will gain an understanding and broaden their overview of the major components/software commonly associated with professional desktop publishing and gain confidence in producing common DTP items.

Pre-requisites

Adobe Suite basic or equivalent skills are required to participate. Must be comfortable using software, navigating the internet and use file storage networks.

All relevant course materials are included.

Pen and paper, a flash drive.

Award

Participants will be awarded an RMIT Statement of Participation.

Teacher Profile

Ben Mastwyk is a Designer and Trainer.  Ben has many years of experience in graphic design and web design.  He teaches in Graphic Arts and Visual Merchandising in the School of Architecture and Design and consults to many individuals and industry.
