Revit MEP - Level 1

This course is a comprehensive introduction to Revit MEP - a powerful 3-dimensional building modelling software program. This course will teach you how to use the software to design and document mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems with high precision while coordinating with the design of a building's architectural and structural components.

Course content

  • MEP interface
  • Workspace customising
  • Understanding & using templates
  • Revit file types
  • Creating a REVIT MEP project, work sets, work sharing
  • Sequencing & workflow
  • Linking architectural model, CAD & IFC files to MEP model
  • Creating, modifying & working with views, elevations & sections
  • Copy monitoring elements
  • Setting up levels
  • Use of drawing, editing & modifying tools
  • Working with spaces
  • Creating construction documents
  • Setting up sheets
  • Annotating
  • Working with schedules
  • Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical (Lighting & Power), Plumbing (fire & hydraulic) services (click on More Information below)

Ideal for
