This course focuses on learning advanced tools and functions of Adobe Illustrator. This course will take participants through tools and functions that aren’t covered in Level 1. New tools/functions and techniques are looked at, as well as revision and application of tools and functions covered in Level 1. Participants will create detailed graphic outcomes through weekly exercises and tasks.
This course is designed for anyone who has intermediate knowledge of Illustrator and is interested in gaining further experience within and understanding of the program. Suitable for graphic artists, textile artists and illustrators and animators. Participants need 'a working knowledge' of Illustrator to navigate this course. Adobe Illustrator Level 1 is recommended prior to undertaking Level 2. This course is not suitable for those with no experience in Adobe Illustrator
Participants will have an advanced understanding of the requirements in preparing images, familiarity with all tools available, and a deeper understanding of Adobe Illustrator.
Is highly recommended Level 1 is completed before undertaking Level 2. However, Level 2 is suitable for those that have knowledge at an intermediate level of Adobe Illustrator.
All relevant course materials are included.
A flash drive is recommended to save files, and exercise book/pens recommended for note-taking.
Participants will be awarded an RMIT Statement of Participation.
