Are you ready to expand the repertoire of techniques you utilise in creating high quality and artistic photographic images?
Throughout 6 weeks in Photoshop Advanced you will explore essential methods for adjusting and controlling colour and tonal information within images. Detail and quality is the focus of this course.
Through a heightened attention to colour management, monitor calibration and use of the RAW file format you will learn to take your images to a new level of control and expression.
Anyone with a basic knowledge of Photoshop and digital photography looking to produce a high quality series of images.
Completion of this course will not guarantee entry into an RMIT program
On completion of this course, you will have developed a range of practical techniques used in Photoshop to enhance images and produce high quality artistic photographic images.
You will also produce a small body of work ready for folio presentation or display.
Students must have completed Photoshop for Photography Introduction or equivalent.
On campus use of Mac computer and film scanner
Participants will be awarded an RMIT Statement of Participation.
Course Presenter - Joseph Brabet
Joseph Brabet brings his photography expertise and design know-how to every PhotoShop class. With a background in architecture and many years’ experience in graphic design before becoming a professional photographer, Joseph knows color and composition. He has worked as a photographer, designer and educator in Australia, Japan, Singapore, France, Germany and Switzerland.
