PwC has estimated that blockchain could boost the world’s economy by $1.76 trillion by the end of the decade, with the industry predicted to grow at an 85.9% CAGR from 2022 to 2030. RMIT Online was the first university in Australia to offer a qualification in blockchain, and we’ve continued to iterate on the course as the industry has evolved.

Walk away with a portfolio piece to showcase your skills to your current or future employer. We’ve worked closely with our industry partner Accenture to make sure the skills you are learning can be immediately applied in the workplace. We’ve also partnered with RMIT Blockchain Innovation Hub, ranked #19 globally for blockchain by CoinDesk conducted in conjunction with Stanford University.

The analogy I've used a number of times is the first category killer cell phone right. It was the Nokia 6100 in the business community everyone out and bought it and it changed my life right.
I stopped looking at every payphone as an opportunity to connect because I had to check my voicemail and suddenly people could connect you know me wherever I was the upside of that was you had a version one category killer platform phone.
It was transformational changed our lives but the amount of innovation to come from that phone to the one I'm carying today is massive - that's where we are with DLT we're on version ones of these platforms it's a different kind of innovation, it's a different kind of transformation, it's not simply trying to make it faster or more automated. It's gonna change our lives our the way we work and our business models but the massive amount of innovation to come is gonna require a whole new workforce, it's gonna require people from diverse backgrounds from different walks of life, from different modes of thinking, from different cultures and ethnicities and perspectives to be able to get the maximum innovation to make that go as best and as quickly as possible, and I think that's that's why I encourage people to get involved. That's why I'm passionate about this and have thrown the entirety of my career at it it's just I'm overwhelmed by the amount of innovation to come and thrilled by it so if you if you see the same potential you you know grasp every opportunity to to learn and get engaged and get involved
