Cyber Security Risk and Strategy

You might have heard it before: cyber security is everyone’s responsibility. The latest estimates put the price of online crime in Australia at $1 billion per year. You really don’t want to be part of that statistic. 

This is one of the few courses that tackles cyber crime from a strategic perspective. There’s no technical or IT knowledge required. You will be working on how to prepare a cyber security strategy, how to champion and own it and how to communicate this back to your business. This course has been built in collaboration with leading cyber security experts from Palo Alto Networks. It runs entirely online and over six weeks so you can fit it in an around your work life schedule.

Our Cyber Security Risk and Strategy course is ideal for:

• Mid-senior managers looking to gain the skills to implement a cyber strategy into the organisation​
• Consultants, IT professionals and entrepreneurs, who have little exposure to cyber security and want to instil cyber practices into their teams or businesses

By the end of this course, you'll be able to: 

• Critically review business practice to develop a cybersecurity risk management strategy and prioritise protective/ preventative actions.
• ​Plan, present and justify a post-incident strategy to address a cyber-attack.​​

With access to a specialised lab, you’ll get hands-on with the tools and create your own cyber security strategy by the end of this course.​
